Hello Lovely People, Basically, i bought a New Rog Strix G16 2023 a week ago, the 3.0 USB port keep disconnecting and the C-type ports are running super slow. I tried copying data from Gorpro and Samsung Phone, the USB 3.0 port kept disconnecting within 3 seconds of accessing the folder, when i connected the devices visa C-type port, it did not disconnect but was super slow. A faulty USB port can quickly lead to data loss and compromised safety. To determine if you have a faulty USB port, follow these simple steps: 1. Look for any red or blue light that doesn’t respond to touch or when pressing any buttons on the device. 2. If the light is on, it’s most likely a bad USB port. 3. My issue is that whenever I play a game (any game at all) various USB devices/sockets will constantly disconnect/reconnect themselves. The only devices it doesn't happen to are the keyboard and mouse, however my webcam, microphone and USB wifi device and iPhone will all do it. It doesn't matter which USB socket they're plugged in to. Wi-fi turns off when USB device is plugged in. I am having the problem that most times that I plug in a USB device, my wi-fi in the Asus Zenbook UX31E will turn off (not disconnect, but turn off with the red x over the wireless icon in the task bar), as per the diagram after step 7 in the diagram below: Another thing to note, the light on the Under the Human Interface Devices in Device Manager, go down the list and uncheck the box that would allow the device to shut down and save power.
